Obviously with Covid restrictions, we might have to do things a little different this year...
If it were up to me, we'd all just meet like normal, but unfortunately the hotels and theaters have to abide by government regulations, and if we want to hang out together, we have to follow their rules...
Now, the GREAT news is that we moved ACSL to Rome, NY, which will allow us the BEST CASE meeting scenarios. So here is how it's going to work this year:
The BEST CASE is all Covid restrictions are lifted, and we get to meet together, all 1,750 A Christmas Story Fans in one room like this:

If we are required to have social distancing during the event, we have an upstairs and down stairs. While it's not ideal, we have the ability to spread out over both levels like this:
If this is our option, we will have rotations so everyone will have the ability to be in the room with the live stage at some times throughout the event.
While it's frustrating to everyone that they can't be in the large room the whole time, it still gives us the ability to network and be together as an A Christmas Story family, so we'll take what we can get until we are past this season!

Be sure to arrive early on Friday so that you have plenty of time to get settled in for the event, and so you have time to network with other A Christmas Story Fans the night before we get started!

Something CRAZY like a storm rolls through the U.S. the day of or the day before, and soooo many flights get backed up, and flat-out cancelled.
A lot of fans who planned to arrive to the event couldn’t get in and they missed most or all of the event and celebs.

What is the Location for the VIP party?
The VIP party location is a Mystery and will be revealed to you at 6pm EST, the day fo the event (November 26th, 2021) through an encrypted message that you will have to decode using your decoder pin.
Is the Decoder Pin Included With My VIP Tickets?
Yes.
Which Airport to fly into?
SYR - Syracuse Hancock International Airport (45.3 Miles Away from Capitol Theatre)

What is the price difference between In Person and Virtual Event tickets?
- There is no price difference
- Virtual Tickets and In-Person Tickets are both $35
With the date change for 2021, if I am no longer able to make the November Event, can my tickets roll over to the 2022 event?

What is the Refund Policy?
There are no refunds unless we have to cancel or reschedule the event.

No, all tickets are $35 USD.

If I select in-person, but get COVID a few days before the Event, can I attend the virtual event instead?
- Yes, we will convert your ticket into a virtual ticket.
What happens if the Event is unable to happen due to Covid?
- If due to COVID, we are unable to hold a live event, your ticket will be converted into a Virtual Ticket, where you will have an amazing Virtual Experience!
Can I purchase a ticket onsite the day of the event?
Not this year; due to Covid, all tickets must be purchased in advance.
My country doesn’t allow travel, how can I attend?
If you are unable to attend the Event in person, you can purchase a virtual ticket and attend that way.

Can I Bring My Collectables To Be Autographed?
Yes you can! Limit to 3 items per person. All items are $30.00 per autograpgh, except Leg Lamps, Posters, BBGuns are $50.00 per autograpgh!
What is the deadline for deciding if I will be attending in person or virtually?
October 31st is the deadline for notifying us if you will be attending in person or virtually. This will allow enough time to plan accordingly and make sure your SWAG is ordered and shipped!
Are there COVID-related restrictions about who can attend?
Please defer to your local jurisdiction to determine if restrictions apply. If you have questions, please contact us at info@achristmasstoryfamily.com.
Why am I paying New York Sales Tax 8.75%?
Because the event is being held in New York and being broadcast from New York, we are legally required to charge you New York Sales Tax (4% from New York + 4.75% Rome = 8.75%).
I have moved since buying my ticket, how can I update my address?
There will be a form in your member's area where you can update your shipping address.
Are there sponsorship opportunities for my business?

Does the hotel offer free parking?
Yes.
Are pets allowed in the Event?
- No. The theater and the hotel do NOT allow pets in their establishment.
- If you have a service animal, please reach out to us in advance so we can help coordinate.
Will there be an opportunity to meet the cast?
Yes. Their goal is to meet everyone at the event : )
Will any meals be provided with my Event ticket?
No, you are typically responsible for your own meals.
What is the difference between IN PERSON and VIRTUAL tickets?
Both experiences are going to be amazing! The difference is: in person, you will be in Rome New York at the event space; virtual can be watched anywhere in the world where there is internet access :)
Which cast members will be involved this year?
We will be releasing the cast line up as we get closer to the event.
How many people will be at this event?
With the current guidelines in place, we plan on having about 1,750 people in attendance LIVE every every 2 hours. Of course, this number is subject to change.
Are we allowed to record audio/video at the event?

Age Limitations
Is there an age limit to attend?
- There is no age limit to attend the main event. If you are under 18 years old, however, you must attend with your legal guardian.
- The VIP party is 21+ only.
Can I bring my baby/kids?
- Its an all age event at the theatre.

Seating
If I come in person will I be guaranteed to sit in the main/lower theater section?
The seating arrangement is first-come, first-serve. We intend on making the in-person experience amazing for everyone that attends. As things continue to shift and change with Covid, so will configuration for the event. But we plan and hope on everyone being able to see LIVE cast members for those that attend in person.
Do you make special accommodations for those with physical limitations?
Yes. Special Early Access is available. Please reach out to info@achristmasstoryfamily.com.
Do A Christmas Story Family VIP Members get any special benefits?
Yes, we will be offering Special Early Access to the Main Theater prior to the General doors opening. You will need to be in the Early Access Lounge Area in order to get early access.
Can I purchase an Early Access Ticket?
No, not at this time. Early access is reserved for our A Christmas Story Family VIP Members at this time.
Safety
What covid protocols will be in place?
We will follow the State, Theater, and Hotel Guidelines/Regulations at the time of the main event and VIP event. More information will be provided as appropriate.
Are you going to be enforcing a mask policy?
We will be following State/City/Theater/Hotel guidelines for masks and overall safety. Our ability to host this event will be determined by following the rules and regulations at the time of the event.
Can you tell me what health and safety precautions are going to be in place?
- We will continue to analyze and make determinations on appropriate precautions.
- Masks and hand sanitizer will be available. We will also be adhering to New Yorks’s, Theater's, and the hotel's policies and guidelines that are in place at the time of the event.
Do I need a Vaccine to attend?
We will be following covid and safety protocols. At this time, we are NOT planning on requiring attendees to have a vaccine but any health and safety-related questions are subject to change.
